Activity levels in over 75s increasing - still more to do

A recent report by Sport England highlighted the challenges of active lifestyles - but the trend is positive with activity in the over 75s increasing from 33% to over 42% over the last 10 years.

The importance of exercise and mobility to later life coupled with increasing levels of protein intake have been extensively reported - we all need to do more when we are thinking about exercise - but this is a positive trend to reduce hospitalisations through falls and slips.
